It's National Peanut Butter Day!

Today's special holiday is one of our team's favorite days of the year 🥜 What's not to love about all of the slow-roasted, local goodness on National Peanut Butter Day?

How are you going to "butter your bread" today?? Our favorite ways include making chocolate and peanut butter flavored treats, enjoying a thick peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and sometimes just sticking our spoons straight into the jar. Anything goes in 2021! Let us know how you are celebrating today by tagging us on social media @georgiagrinders. We can't wait to see all the festive fun you are having!

Fun fact: did you know that Georgia is the lead producing state of peanuts in the United States?! ... AND Georgia Grinders happens to be the only small batch, handcrafted Georgia-based nut butter company in our great state. As a proud member of Georgia Grown, all of our peanuts are sourced from local Georgia farmers, and it is our honor to be able to share this local delicacy with you! Just like all of our other products, there are no added oils or sugars in any of our peanut butters.

Beyond the Crunchy and Creamy Peanut Butters, we also sell blends of Pecan Peanut Butter and Cinnamon Vanilla Pecan Peanut Butter; two additional Georgia tributes.  Which ones will you be filling your pantry with?  We are sharing two delicious, savory peanut butter recipes below to help get your creative juices flowing so you can think outside the jar.  Enjoy and happy shopping!

With love,
Your Georgia Grinder's family

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400F. These can also be made on the grill or in the air fryer.
2. Toss the wings in the avocado oil, place them on a foil lined baking sheet and bake in the oven until crispy for about 45-50 minutes.
3. While the wings are baking, mix the remaining ingredients in a sauce pan on medium head until the peanut butter melts. You can add extra sriracha or hot sauce if you'd like more of a kick. Set the sauce aside.
4. Toss the wings in sauce and enjoy! You can add cilantro, roasted peanuts and more.

Instructions:
1. In a slow cooker, add coconut milk, broth, peanut butter, pumpkin, ginger, garlic, cayenne, and additional seasonings. Mix everything together until combined. Add in the chicken breast and diced onions. Cover the slow cooker and cook on 3-4 hours on high. You can also cook on low for around 6 hours.
2. After the soup is done cooking, remove the chicken and place on a cutting board. Shred the chicken with a fork and place it back into the slow cooker. Put the soup into bowls and garnish with desired toppings. We love to add cauliflower rice instead of rice. You can also add additional greens like spinach.
