Blanching gently removes the outer skin of the nut, leaving the creamy, buttery center behind. That’s it. No weird processing. No stripping away nutrition. Peanut skins naturally contain tannins and lectins that can be irritating for some people — especially if you’re healing your gut or following a low-inflammatory lifestyle.

Our Georgia-grown organic peanuts are blanched before being transformed into ultra-smooth nut butter in our organic-certified facility in Chamblee.

Removing the skins means:
