Hazelnut Butter

$16.00

NOW MADE WITH ORGANIC HAZELNUTS!  The wait is over—our beloved Hazelnut Butter is finally back in stock! 🥳 But oh, what a journey it’s been…With hazelnut shortages in Turkey and Italy, finding premium hazelnuts that meet our exacting standards has been a challenge. We searched high and low, tasted a lot of hazelnuts (tough job, but someone had to do it 😉), and finally found a supplier we’re proud to partner with.

Here’s the exciting part: these hazelnuts are ORGANIC! 🌱 While we can’t make this official claim just yet (FDA, USDA, and Dept. of Ag certifications take time), we’re confident in the quality and care behind this product.

We’re thrilled to bring this fan-favorite back to your pantry—perfect for spreading, snacking, or spooning straight from the jar.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE COLOR, TASTE + TEXTURE WILL BE DIFFERENT DUE TO VARIATIONS WITH HAZELNUTS FROM REGION TO REGION, MOISTURE CONTENT, ETC, BUT THIS NEW HAZELNUT BUTTER IS STILL EQUALLY AS AMAZING!

FAQ

  • How long will my Georgia Grinders nut butters last?

All Georgia Grinders nut butters are regularly ground to perfection in house so that you will receive the freshest product available, with as close to a 1 year shelf life. As required by the FDA, all products require a BEST BY Date or USE BY Date to be commercially sold. Our nut butters have a BEST BY Date that is indicated on the bottom of each jar. This is one year from the date of manufacturing.

  • Are Georgia Grinders products processed on the same equipment?

All our nut butters are processed using shared equipment, as we do not have dedicated lines for each nut butter variety. Nevertheless, we prioritize hygiene and safety by meticulously breaking down and sanitizing all equipment in accordance with FDA and Dept. of Agriculture standards whenever transitioning between nut butter varieties. At Georgia Grinders, we consistently uphold the highest food safety standards, making it our foremost priority, ensuring that you can trust the safety and quality of our products at all times.

  • Is Georgia Grinders Kosher Certified?

We are excited to share that our commitment to accessibility now extends to official Kosher certification for all our nut butters! We have achieved this certification through the Atlanta Kashruth Commission, a non-profit agency dedicated to kosher supervision, certifying numerous products in companies and facilities across the Southeast and the entire nation. This accomplishment underscores our dedication to providing inclusive and high-quality products to a broader range of consumers.

  • Are Georgia Grinders nut butters Organic?

Yes! Some of Georgia Grinders nut butters are certified organic, though our entire manufacturing facility is certified organic as of November 2020. Rest assured, all conventional nuts are sourced from premium quality, reputable growers and that everything is sustainably grown. In fact, we have personally visited many of the farms where we source our nuts and have personal relationships with many of the farmers.

  • Why is shipping so expensive?

Georgia Grinders nut butters are packed in glass jars. The benefits of glass packaging are clear though, as it's sustainable, being 100% and infinitely recyclable, reusable, and refillable. Glass is inert, with no synthetic chemicals, making it safe to store food and drinks in. Unfortunately this comes with a price tag though, as shipping glass jars/containers in more expensive than plastic containers. Glass jars weigh roughly 3x more than plastic. Parcel carriers like USPS, UPS or FedEx price their service based on the weight of the package that they’re carrying. The simplest way to put it is that a heavier box means a higher shipping cost. If your box is packed full of beautiful glass jars, you can expect it to weigh quite a bit.

  • What does in mean to be Whole30 Approved?

Being "Whole30 Approved" refers to a product or food item meeting the standards and criteria set by the Whole30 program. The Whole30 is a popular 30-day dietary reset that emphasizes whole, unprocessed foods and eliminates potentially inflammatory or problematic food groups. The program encourages participants to focus on consuming real, nutrient-dense foods while avoiding certain ingredients such as added sugars, grains, dairy, legumes, and processed foods.

The Whole30 Approved® label is designed to let you know a product is 100% compatible with the rules and that the product line and company who stands behind it has been vetted by the Whole30 team.

Georgia Grinders is honored to be a part of this program and offer 5 Whole30 Approved nut butters.
